11th Symposium of LVMH Recherche

This year's topic

The 2011 LVMH Recherche symposium will focus on the latest areas of progress in anti-aging research and skin rejuvenation.

Skin aging is a complex process and influences the deterioration of most aspects of our personal and social lives.

Recent discoveries and rapid scientific advances in understanding the underlying mechanisms of skin aging using stem cells - termed regenerative medicine - have led to novel skin care treatments.

Today, the 3 R theory - Repair, Replace and Regenerate - associated with skin protection, is the concept for much anti-aging research.

The symposium goal is to discover what is behind the concept of rejuvenation, how to maximize its efficacy without risks, and how can it be applied in daily life.

Molecular genetics, disruptions to aged-related signaling pathways, cellular reprogramming strategies, epigenetic rejuvenation, bioinformatics tools, metabolic stability, new challenges and pharmacological approaches, as well as the development of new technologies are just some of the topics covered in the conferences, and which will help us to create future solutions for continually more beautiful skin.

Participation to the LVMH Symposium is free and by invitation only.
The number of places is limited.
